My name is Tammy Skye. I’m an HCG Dieter and the Author of the HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook series and other health cookbooks and recipes. I discovered the HCG diet after reading the book “The Weight Loss Cure they don’t want you to know about” This led to me the work of Dr. A.T.W. Simeons and his book “Pounds and Inches”. Dr. Simeons researched and developed the original HCG diet program back in the 50’s. At the time I discovered the HCG diet, I had tried every diet plan, pill, and potion imaginable and had come to the conclusion that DIETS DON’T WORK.
I felt destined to be overweight and had pretty much given up on the idea of reaching a normal healthy weight ever again. Still, I dove right into research and what I found was incredible and amazing. The HCG diet helps you raise your metabolism and when the diet is over… you are actually able to eat normal calories and real food. No shakes or pills, just real, whole, healthy, food. And the diet worked! Rapid weight loss, pounds and inches fell right off, and with little to no hunger. This program was an absolute miracle for me.
Still, after three weeks on the protocol, I was bored to tears. The limited food choices were making it difficult to stick to the plan. So there I was, smack in the middle of the diet and utterly sick of grilled chicken and salad. I started experimenting with spices and developed some amazing recipes that worked with P2 (Phase 2) of the diet and tasted amazing. I started sharing some of my recipes with my hcg diet support group and someone posted …. “Hey, you should write a book!” That was an Ah Ha moment for me ….. and so I did. I wrote and released my HCG Diet Cookbook Vol 1 HCG Recipes for phase 2 (originally called the HCG Dieter Gourmet Cookbook) in August of 2007. The cookbook has over 200 recipes that are absolutely rockin’ with flavor and make following the HCG diet protocol so much easier and more fun. I then released my HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook Vol. 2 with 150 more HCG Phase 2 Recipes including some delicious vegetarian egg and cheese options.
So, here we are, years later and I’m still happily maintaining my size six. This diet has absolutely changed my life! I can’t tell you how great it feels to know that my metabolism is super charged, that I can eat pretty much whatever I want (healthy food, no junk) and easily maintain my weight and new figure.
I’m looking forward to the adventure of writing about my experiences, sharing recipes, and connecting with other dieters like you. I wish you all the success and incredible HCG Diet weight loss results as you start this journey. It is so very worth it and you will be amazed at how you look and feel when you get there.

I am excited to report the launch of a new website and a new series of cookbooks. As an hCG Dieter, it was important to me to find the secrets to lasting weight loss maintenance.
Another way that I maintained my weight is through my other passion for Detox and Nutrition. Getting board certified in Holistic Nutrition has been a dream of mine for years and its finally becoming a reality. In my own journey of health and wellness, I found it helpful to both prepare my body for HCG Phase 2 with a series of detox cleanses and also found it helpful for maintaining my weight. To better serve others I now offer my personal nutrition coaching services as well as free information, and recipes. In the process, I developed TheDetoxZone.com where I would post and share natural remedies, alternative therapies, advice with detoxification and a discussion of herbs and teas, nutrition, and supplements as they relate to health and wellness.
