My name is Tammy Skye and I’m an HCG Dieter. I discovered the HCG diet after watching an infomercial with Kevin Trudeau touting his then latest book, “The Weight Loss Cure they don’t want you to know about” This led to me the work of Dr. A.T.W. Simeons and his book “Pounds and Inches”. Dr. Simeons researched and developed the original HCG diet program back in the 50′s. At the time I discovered the HCG diet, I had tried every diet plan, pill, and potion imaginable and had come to the conclusion that DIETS DON’T WORK.

I felt destined to be overweight and had pretty much given up on the idea of reaching a normal healthy weight ever again. Still, I dove right into research and what I found was incredible and amazing. The HCG diet helps you raise your metabolism and when the diet is over… you are actually able to eat normal calories and real food. No shakes or pills, just real, whole, healthy, food. And the diet worked! Rapid weight loss, pounds and inches fell right off, and with little to no hunger. This program was an absolute miracle for me.

Still, after three weeks on the protocol, I was bored to tears. The limited food choices were making it difficult to stick to the plan. So there I was, smack in the middle of the diet and utterly sick of grilled chicken and salad. I started experimenting with spices and developed some amazing recipes that worked with P2 (Phase 2) of the diet and tasted amazing. I started sharing some of my recipes with my hcg diet support group and someone posted …. “Hey, you should write a book!” That was an Ah Ha moment for me ….. and so I did. I wrote and released my HCG Diet Cookbook P2 (Phase 2) in August of 2007. The cookbook has over 200 recipes that are absolutely rockin’ with flavor and make following the HCG diet protocol so much easier and more fun.

So, here we are, 2 years later and I’m still happily maintaining my size six and finally starting a blog. This diet has absolutely changed my life! I can’t tell you how great it feels to know that my metabolism is super charged, that I can eat pretty much whatever I want (healthy food, no junk) and easily maintain my weight and new figure.

My goal with this blog is to offer free information, recipes, support, community, and anything else I dream up that can help people who are on or considering following the hcg diet. I know how challenging this diet can be and there is so much mis-information out there. I stumbled around myself and made so many mistakes in the beginning that I want to provide a place where hcg dieters can go for straight up information and support. I plan to offer articles, recipes, free e-books, advice, videos (eventually) and other tools to help people be successful.

I’m looking forward to the adventure of writing about my experiences and connecting and sharing with other dieters like you. I wish you all the success and incredible weight loss results as you start this journey. It is so very worth it and you will be amazed at how you look and feel when you get there.
