HCG Diet Phase 3 Foods List – Protein
You can enjoy a wide variety of proteins including all animal protein, eggs and dairy. You do not have to worry about the fat content or amounts as your body is in a primarily Keto state on Phase 3. Portion your proteins to satisfy your hunger rather than counting calories. Phase 3 is a time when your body sets a new calorie requirement so it is important to remember not to continue dieting during this time. It is important to eat plenty of nutritious food as it sets the pace for your new, faster metabolism. When choosing your proteins for HCG Phase 3, choose whole, unprocessed protein for your meals rather than overly sugared, salted, and preserved meats. I like to choose organic, wild caught, free range, and grass fed meats. Eat clean, read labels, and avoid anything processed or prepared with sugar.

HCG Diet Phase 3 Foods List – Fruit
All fruit in moderation is allowed on P3. Exercise caution with your portions though, some dieters have more trouble stabilizing if they eat too much fruit. Whenever possible, choose lower sugar fruits like fresh berries and avoid dried fruit due to the concentration of the sugars in the drying process and avoid drinking fruit juices. Eat your fruit whole with all the fiber, skin, and nutrients when possible. Exercise caution with eating too much pineapple and watermelon and it is wise to completely avoid bananas on P3 due to the starch and sugar content until you reach Phase 4 Maintenance.
Apples
Cherries
Berries (Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries etc.)
Melon (Honeydew, cantaloupe and other melons)
Kiwi
Grapes
Peaches and Nectarines
Apricots

All other fresh, whole fruits are HCG Phase 3 Approved in moderation
HCG Diet Phase 3 Foods List – Oils and Fats
My favorite Oils and Fats to cook with are Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Real butter. Most oils and fats are allowed on Phase 3 and you can be confident in cooking liberally with them. Oils to avoid are trans fats and artificial products like margarine and Crisco. Many oils like Canola and vegetable oils have been deemed less than healthy or made from GMO ingredients. Any oil is technically allowed but ideally choose the healthy fats you can.

Nut and Seed Oils (Hazelnut, Walnut, Grapeseed, Sesame, flax, almond, etc.)
Bacon grease
