I know it can be a challenge for dieters on all phases of the HCG Diet. The holidays are particularly difficult with all the sugary holiday treats, family gatherings, and temptation. Even with the increased variety of allowed foods on the Stabilization Phase 3, dieters can feel a bit deprived while watching family and friends enjoy holiday favorite foods and beverages. My goal with my HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook series is to offer delicious food on every phase of the HCG Diet. The Stabilization Phase 3 is a very flexible and fun time with the HCG Diet. You can enjoy many of your favorite foods, wine, cocktails, and holiday beverages on P3! I originally released this Low Carb Phase 3 Egg Nog Recipe as part of a free holiday recipe gift for people who purchased the HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook Volume 1 and now I want to share it with you!
We all love a creamy cup of holiday egg nog. This rich yummy holiday treat is a seasonal favorite and, when done right, absolutely Phase 3 friendly! One of my favorite holiday traditions is to curl up with my little cat, a good book and slowly sip and savor a cup of my Low Carb Phase 3 Egg Nog. This year, I even have a fireplace and love love love the sound of crackling fire and a little extra ambiance in my life and with my Egg Nog. I wish you all the best this Holiday Season and whatever your holiday traditions, I hope you will enjoy this sugar and starch free stabilizing phase 3 Egg Nog Recipe, stay true to the HCG Diet and watch out for that starch and sugar.
Enjoy the recipe and Happy Dieting!

Dear Tammy,
although I am from Germany I love Egg Nog. Thanks for posting a Phase 3 receipe for Egg Nog. I have one question:
What is "1 cup half and half"? That is one thing I do not understand about this receipe.
Thanks for helping me.
Pascale
Hi Pascale and thank you for writing! There is a product in the States called Half & Half that you find in the dairy section; it’s half milk, half cream.
Best of luck on your diet and let me know how you like the recipe!
Thanks Tammy for the help!
I will come back when I have made the Egg Nog as I am in Phase 3 now.
Food Network Kitchens suggest caution in consuming raw and lightly cooked eggs due to the slight risk of salmonella or other food-borne illness. To reduce this risk, we recommend you use only fresh, properly refrigerated, clean grade A or AA eggs with intact shells, and avoid contact between the yolks or whites and the shell. As a courtesy to your followers, PLEASE include this information on eating raw eggs.
Hi Sandra and thank you for writing! That is a wonderful suggestion — thank you very much! I am working on a disclaimer regarding raw eggs now and you will be seeing it on my site and in my correspondence soon!
Thanks again!!
