Hey, it happens. We all get tempted sometimes on the HCG Diet. As an HCG dieter, you know that the HCG Diet is very strict and the food choices are restricted and limiting. When temptation strikes, you need the tools and the will to move forward and stick with your diet in order to be success with your weight loss. There is no room for cheat days on the HCG Diet. Even a single peanut can throw off your nearly pound a day weight loss results. So here are a few ideas and a little advice on how to stay true when you’re tempted to cheat on P2 (The HCG Phase 2)
6 Ways to Avoid Cheating on your HCG Diet Phase 2
1. Make your favorite recipe from the HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook Vol. 1 or the new Vol. 2 (150 more recipes folks) Allow yourself to have some comfort food on the HCG Diet, something from my cookbook that you could enjoy on any phase or any day of the year.
2. Have a drizzle of chocolate Stevia on your strawberries when you have a sweet tooth. You can save your strawberries for a dessert or late night snack or whip it up with ice for a refreshing drink.
3. Journal all the reasons why you want to lose weight. Remember all the reasons you chose to do the HCG Diet in the first place. Let those reasons be your focus when you’re tempted to cheat.
4. Think about the end result. Visualize yourself at your goal weight, playing with your kids, buying that bikini. Finding a reason to stick it out is critical to making it happen.
5. Have some HCG Diet approved vegetables prepared to snack on when you are hungry or tempted to cheat or save your fruit for an evening snack if you have late night cravings
6. Drink extra water (always important when on the HCG Diet and it fills you up)
Hope these ideas help you stick with your diet and lose all the weight you want on P2. They sure helped me when I was on the HCG Phase 2 and any time I was tempted, I would remember my goals and make an extra special meal or HCG Diet friendly treat to get me through being tempted. Hang in there 🙂
