One of the best motivators for me while on the HCG Diet was taking my weekly before and after measurements. I was always floored by how fast those inches melted off. Sometimes when the weight wasn’t dropping on the scale right away, I could still get the satisfaction and peace of mind that the HCG diet was working when I pulled out my trusty measuring tape and actually saw the results.
You see, there will be times on the HCG diet, you will likely reach a plateau. Plateaus can be very discouraging to an hCG dieter but in spite of the occasional slow moves on the scale, I encourage you to take heart. Know that even though you may not have lost that daily pound, things are still shifting around in your body and you are likely continuing to drop inches. Tips for Taking Before and After Measurements for the HCG Diet.
- Measure in the same area of the body each time.
- Measure at the same day and time weekly and document your progress thoroughly.
- Take your measurements in a relaxed position at the thickest area of the body part.
- Use a soft, moldable measuring tape that contours easily to areas like your arms and thighs.
- Measure with firm pressure, not too tight or too loose.
- Track your progress in a notebook or HCG Diet workbook.
